La Roca FC teams have enjoyed 10 years of growth and success in Utah County. Because of the enthusiasm of thousands of young players, La Roca FC now expands its teams in Utah County to include a Junior Academy program for 4-8 year old boys and girls. Ariel Bravo, Director of Coaching for La Roca South, will serve as the Junior Academy's new Director. Ariel is a former professional soccer player who holds a B-level license from US Soccer. We are excited to offer these young players the best instruction as they begin their soccer journey.

Ariel and his team of coaches will create a safe, positive environment for kids to develop their skills and have fun. The objective of the program is tap into their potential by teaching them the necessary foot skills and instilling a passion for soccer. We will focus on the hand-eye coordination and gross motor skills required for dribbling the ball, controlling the ball, passing, and shooting. We will also teach the basics of goalkeeping. This program will help prepare the kids for the next step, should they decide to pursue competitive soccer.

The program will provide two 1-hour training sessions a week during the summer, fall, and spring. A uniform is included in the cost, though players will need their own cleats and shin guards.

Location: Timberline Middle School in Alpine

Days: Tuesdays and Fridays

Time: Summer Sessions:

Tuesdays 4-5pm 2016 and 2015 Birth years

Tuesdays 5-6pm 2014 and 2013 Birth years

Fridays 5:30-6:30pm 2016 and 2015 Birth years

Fridays 6:30-7:30pm 2014 and 2013 Birth years 

Cost: $425 (10% sibling discount) Also $25 discount if you already have the uniform.

We will hold 9 trainings in summer  starting  7/14 until 8/14 before UYSA Fall season starts. No training on July 24th.

Fall season will begin  8/18  until 10/09

It will be 16 trainings.

Spring will starting  3/9 until 5/07 it will be 18 trainings.

Total of 43 trainings.

Days and time for the Fall and Spring sessions are subject to change based on the UYSA games schedules and coaches availability.  Once the schedules have come out we will determine the days and times accordingly.
